Craig Lawson - General Manager - Policy & Operations
Laws was appointed to his position on 26 January 2000.
Laws has had previous involvement with Ministry of Works and Development as a developer and funder of public water resource projects. He was a senior manager with Ministry for the Environment and involved with the development and implementation of local government reform, the Resource Management Act, the Fisheries Act and the Biosecurity Act as well as developing New Zealand’s first State of the Environment Report and the New Zealand Biodiversity Strategy.
