Tama manages all legal matters that arise in connection with the operations of Te Ohu Kai Moana. This involves:

liaising with and assisting the team involved in the pre-settlement assets allocation litigation.
consulting with Iwi on the implementation of legislation and regulations that affect Maori fishing and Maori fishing rights.
providing advice to Te Ohu Kai Moana on the impact of new and amended legislation which affects Maori fishing and Maori fishing rights.
instructing and working with outside counsel on legal issues.
management of and participation in all legal projects undertaken by Te Ohu Kai Moana.
