Changes to Charitable Trust laws

In 2005, the Government changed the law concerning Charitable Trusts and established the Charities Commission. All trusts that have charitable tax status must register with the Charities Commission before 30 June next year and could face losing their tax exempt status by not doing so. We have prepared and distributed information to help you understand the changes.
