Directors for Trusts appointed

New directors have each been appointed to Te Putea Whakatupu Trust and Te Wai Maori Trust.

Ngahiwi Tomoana

Te Ohu Kaimoana director Ngahiwi Tomoana has been appointed as a director on the freshwater fisheries trust Te Wai Maori. He replaces Archie Taiaroa, who resigned from the board after being appointed the chairperson of Te Ohu Kaimoana.

Former Labour MP John Tamihere has been appointed to the Maori development trust Te Putea Whakatupu. John is currently the chief executive of Te Waipareira Trust in Auckland. He replaces June Jackson.
