Te Ohu Kaimoana finance manager John Diggins left the company in early September to take up a role in a USbased financial company.
Seen here pig hunting in his spare time, John joined Te Ohu Kaimoana in 2004 and was responsible for completing the monthly reporting to the board, annual reports and annual plans and other administrative functions.
“I've really enjoyed my time here in the last three years. It's a good crew and we've achieved quite a lot in a small amount of time,” he says. “With the imminent completion of the inshore allocation database, it's really the last step in the puzzle to complete allocation to iwi and I feel now is the time to move into other areas.”
John will begin working in October for BeringPoint, which is relocating its Asia Pacific regional financial reporting team from Honolulu to Wellington.
“ We are grateful for the work John did especially the very complicated computation of shares in the inshore fisheries area for Iwi,” CEO Peter Douglas said.
Te Ohu Kaimoana wishes John the very best for the future.
