Leanne Betty has been recently appointed as executive assistant for asset allocation and transfer. Leanne, who was born and bred in Wellington and affiliates to Te Aitanga a Mahaki and Nga Ariki Kaiputahi, joined Te Ohu Kaimoana from the Ministry of Education where she worked in a similar position. Since starting at Te Ohu Kaimoana, Leanne says she's learnt a lot about the fisheries environment and enjoys working for a Maori organisation, and one which is working to empower iwi in the marine environment.
