The establishment of Te Putea Whakatupu Trust this month will not disadvantage any current students who have received Te Ohu Kai Moana Charitable Trust Scholarships. Darrin Apanui who will be managing Te Putea Whakatupu Trust says Te Ohu will continue to support those people on the current scholarship programme.

“We are committed to developing Māori skills through excellent educational and training programmes. There is no way we would want to diminish a programme that has increased the skills that Māori can offer the industry. More importantly the educational programme is destined to go from strength to strength with a set of directors on Te Putea that are totally committed to enhancing Māori capability.”

So for all those Māori out there wanting to get more out of life through education and study log into fishfingers.maori.nz to apply for a scholarship now.
