Submissions to MFish
The Ministry of Fisheries has released a number of papers recently relating to the management of particular fisheries and management controls. Te Ohu Kaimoana has provided a response to these through the submission process, and these are now on our website for viewing.
The papers released by the Ministry are:
- Review of Sustainability Measures and other Management Controls for the 2005-06 Fishing Year,
- Review of Sustainability Measures and other Management Controls for Kahawai for the 2005-06 Fishing Year,
- Initial Position Paper – Review of Sustainability Measures and other Management Controls for the 2005-06 Fishing Year,
- Ministry of Fisheries proposal to review the total allowable catch of the Coromandel scallop fishery for the 2005 fishing season, and
- Ministry of Fisheries proposal to amend the amateur fishing regulations.
