Oceans Policy
In the past, the management of our oceans was spread over 14 Government Departments. To improve the efficiency of this process, the Government embarked on a review of Oceans Policy. Reports and submissions on the Oceans Policy process produced by the former Treaty of Waitangi Fisheries Commission can be found below.
The Government is continuing to review Oceans Policy and for more updated information, please see the link under “Reforms”.
