Dion Tuuta is the Chief Executive of Te Ohu Kaimoana. He has extensive experience in working with Māori businesses and post-Treaty settlement governance entities and holds a Masters Degree in History from Massey University.

Dion has held a number of diverse roles during his career including Iwi manager, communications manager, historian, policy manager, Treaty claim negotiator, writer, and historian.

He is also a director of Wellington-based lobster export business Port Nicholson Fisheries Limited Partnership and Seafood NZ.
