As requested by the Court on 5 December, please find attached the Statement of Defence for Te Ohu Kaimoana and the Statement of Defence Crown, as well as an accompanying Memorandum of Counsel from Te Ohu Kaimoana. The accompanying Memorandum of Counsel from Te Ohu Kaimoana proposes to appoint Counsel assisting, and seeks permission to publish pleadings on the Te Ohu Kaimoana website.
It is important to note that Mandated Iwi Organisations have until Friday 9 December to notify the Court if they wish to be heard in these proceedings, and in what capacity they wish to be heard.
All key documents relating to these proceedings will be uploaded to the resources section of the Te Ohu Kaimoana website teohu.maori.nz from this afternoon.
