On 11 April 2022, the Māori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement Amendment Bill passed into law. On the 29th of March 2022, the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries announced the decisions made for the sustainability measures for the fish stocks consulted on as part of the April 2022 sustainability round.
