Brianna Boxall named as a finalist for ILANZ MAS In-House Lawyer of the Year

We are proud to announce that our in-house Legal Manager and Senior Solicitor, Brianna Boxall (Rongomaiwahine, Ngāti Hine) has been announced as a finalist in the ILANZ MAS In-House Lawyer of the Year Award.
Brianna joined Te Ohu Kaimoana in 2021 and quickly became an influential and popular member of our whānau and leadership team.
Throughout the past two years Brianna has played an instrumental role in many significant pieces of work, including the amendments to the Maori Fisheries Act 2004 (Māori Fisheries Amendment Bill), supporting with advice on the Kermadec Ocean Sanctuary, disputes related to settlement assets, appearing in both the Environment Court on RMA and Fisheries Act litigation.
Brianna’s support through advice to iwi on statutory compliance and to the Board of Te Ohu Kaimoana on director and trustee obligations has also been exemplary.
We are very proud of your achievement and feel extremely lucky to have you in service to iwi.
