Our response to the Māori Affairs Select Committee on the Māori Fisheries Amendment Bill

Ka nui te mihi ki a koutou e ngā iwi for the feedback we received to help draft our final response to the Māori Affairs Select Committee on the Māori Fisheries Amendment Bill.

A big thank you also to those that were able to attend the MFA Bill webinar on 30 March 2023. We are very grateful for your contributions and have incorporated your feedback into our final response.

You can download a copy of our final response (click here) that we submitted to the Select Committee on Thursday 13 April 2023. We have also indicated that we would like to speak to our response ā-tinana.

The Māori Affairs Select Committee has tentatively indicated that the hearing dates may be 3 and 10 May 2023.
